What Is Normal Skin?

Normal skin refers to a skin type with moderate sebum secretion, a supple touch, and neither excessive dryness nor oiliness on the face. However, it tends to get extremely oily in summer and becomes quite dry in winter. Generally, normal skin is most common among pre-adolescent girls. Their skin looks smooth, free of acne and red blood streaks, and appears plump and hydrated. But in the hot summer months, people with normal skin may find their faces turning greasy.
How to Whiten Normal Skin
Whitening normal skin is the easiest among all skin types. You don’t need a full range of whitening products, but should focus on sun protection during the day and moisturizing at night. Additionally, drink plenty of water, eat more fruits and vegetables, and you can also incorporate whitening drinks into your routine. Stick to daily cleansing, toning and nourishing steps. Use a whitening night cream to nourish your skin every evening, and apply a whitening facial mask once a week.
Note: Dry, dehydrated skin is prone to wrinkles and fine lines, but less likely to develop acne.
What Is Dry Skin?
People with dry skin often feel tight, dry and flaky after daily facial cleansing, especially in autumn and winter. The T-zone is most susceptible to dark spots. Those with combination skin should also pay special attention to moisturizing their T-zone. Dry skin is usually thin, with poor moisture retention, insufficient oil secretion, reduced elasticity and a dull complexion. It is also more vulnerable to damage and sensitivity. People with dry skin are prone to sunburn, tanning, chapping and fine lines.
How to Whiten Dry Skin
Start by replenishing skin moisture—prioritize hydration to nourish the skin with ample moisture, maintain its normal metabolism, and resist dryness and pigmentation. Choose products with dual whitening and moisturizing benefits. Use an extra-rich whitening night cream at night to deeply nourish the skin. For extremely dry skin, follow exfoliation with a moisturizing mask immediately, and use a moisturizing mask at least twice a week. Apply a moisturizing serum before your whitening lotion to boost the skin’s moisture content.
