A youth innovation project from Shanxi Media University,"Thousand Stitches Inherit Culture,Animation Boosts the World",has built an integrated model of animation communication, rural revitalization, intangible cultural heritage empowerment and international industrial cooperation, helping national-level intangible cultural heritage Jinxiu achieve systematic upgrading and global expansion.
The project takes the original animation IP Jili&Gulu as the core carrier, and creates a multi-language intangible cultural heritage popularization animation to realize young, digital and international communication.By cooperating with rural workshops in Xinzhou and Fanshi, the project has driven more than 169 rural women to achieve stable employment at their doorsteps, and helped Fanshi Jinxiu Workshop be selected as a typical case of national-level intangible cultural heritage workshops.
In terms of international cooperation, the project has reached an exclusive strategic cooperation with Lutai Textile, relying on its global supply chain covering more than 120 countries to develop high-end products with Jinxiu elements and achieve large-scale overseas sales. At the same time,it has cooperated with 5 overseas Confucius Institutes and many international universities to carry out multi-language animation screenings, international study tours and cultural exchange activities, filling the gap in the international communication of northern Chinese embroidery.
With a number of independent intellectual property rights and digital technologies, the team has formed a replicable and promotable closed-loop model of"animation IP+workshop co-construction+cultural tourism integration+cross-border industrial cooperation".The project has been selected as a national key project for cultural export, and has received support and recognition from government, industry and academic circles.
In the future, the team will continue to expand the global communication network, promote the model to more intangible cultural heritage categories, and help more excellent traditional Chinese cultures go to the world.
