Making its way to the top of its list to visit in a country I hadn't visited is Casablanca. It's the best of being the economic hub of the country while providing a reminder of who Morocco used to be. Its Hassan II Mosque, with the massive minaret that has rocked the Rio Olympics, is a must see and then strolling the Corniche with views of the ocean is a great place to sit and think

While most cities in Morocco are historic by name only, Casablanca isn't the easiest city to fall in love with, but its mix of old and new, and the cosmopolitan plush there reflects it an interesting stop for those who want to see more of Morocco's world.
