The Overseas Session of 2026 ＂Sprint Forward in Golden Boots＂ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Shangcheng District Held in Singapore

On the afternoon of September 10 local time, the Overseas Session of the 5th "Sprint Forward in Golden Boots" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Shangcheng District, 2026, was successfully held at OGBC Innovation Centre in Singapore, with 11 high-quality overseas projects competing on the same stage. When the international vision of the "Lion City" meets the dynamic industrial hotland of Shangcheng, a surging wave of integration for scientific and technological innovation and industrial synergy between China and Singapore is now unfolding.

Chen Gang, Party Secretary of the Science, Technology, Economy and Information Technology Bureau of Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, attended the event in person and delivered an address. He stated that it is hoped to rely on the competition platform to promote mutual learning among entrepreneurs and deepen the humanistic connection of the science and innovation circles between the two places. While the competition has an end point, innovation and cooperation know no boundaries. It is expected that Shangcheng and Singapore will continue to take innovation as the bridge and culture as the bond, and write a new chapter of win-win cooperation.

Zheng Guowei, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, gave an investment environment promotion presentation, which elaborated on Shangcheng's prominent location advantages, innovative industrial ecology and complete enterprise service system, demonstrating the solid foundation and unique strengths of Shangcheng to support high-quality entrepreneurial projects.

At the competition site, 11 overseas projects from cutting-edge tracks took the stage for roadshows in sequence, ranging from a future medical project that deeply cultivates full closed-loop solutions for digital health, to an artificial intelligence-empowered native 3D content creation project; from a high-reliability material process and service verification platform for hot-end metal parts of low-altitude power systems, to a platform-based technology that empowers small and medium-sized enterprises to achieve no-code AI transformation. They shared wonderful insights from perspectives including core technology, achievement application, team resume and market prospect, demonstrating solid scientific research foundation and cutting-edge innovation concepts. The person in charge of the "Ground to Cloud" project said: "Shangcheng District has a concentrated artificial intelligence industry and a strong atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship, which is an ideal choice for projects to settle and develop."

The judging panel, composed of academicians of the Singapore Academy of Engineering, experts and scholars from the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University, as well as well-known entrepreneurs deeply engaged in Singapore's investment field, provided professional evaluation for the participating projects. By combining quantitative scoring and in-depth comments, the judging panel conducted comprehensive research and judgment as well as professional guidance for the participating projects.

As the overseas special session of the 5th "Sprint Forward in Golden Boots" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Shangcheng District, this Singapore sub-station competition is an important practice for Shangcheng District to connect global scientific and innovation resources and open up international cooperation channels. During the competition, the Shangcheng District delegation also visited Nanyang Technological University, the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Singapore Management University and other universities, research institutes and entrepreneurship incubation institutions, carried out practical docking around international resource connection and innovation achievement transformation, and further consolidated the China-Singapore innovation cooperation bond.

As the competition came to an end, a number of high-quality projects with both "high gold content" and "high talent content" stood out, and will gather in the Shangcheng final to compete for the championship of this competition.
